Hello, my name is daviD Ward. That's how I spell my name. Don't ask
why, the length of the response would take longer to write than all of
the stl library. ( C++ joke, ha). I'm a programmer and game developer
from Michigan, currently attending Michigan State University for
Computer Science Engineering with a specialization in game design. I'm
also planning on minoring in Math at the moment, and giving thought to a
double major in Comm Arts to learn 3D modeling and animation.
My interests are pretty broad, since they pretty much include anything I
don't know about. I love programming, new technologies and all that
other fancy techy stuff. I also love science and physics, though I
confess to be no expert. I play guitar and like to jam with new people,
but I warn you I am a speed demon. If you wanna play music sometime,
make sure the music is faster than it is melodic. My sports interest can
be summed into one team, the Detroit Red Wings. I've never really cared
much for other sports outside of hockey, probably since hockey is the
only sport I've played since I was 8 years old. I'll watch/enjoy
watching anything with friends, but when it comes to other sports I lose
my place in the conversation. I'm a big outdoors man- I love fishing,
hunting and camping.
I would like to use this blog in
part to discuss random things that interest me, but mostly to post on my
game development career and things along that line. Some technical
stuff mixed with personal opinions. I'll try to do the whole "one post a
week" things for as long as I'm able. Till next week, cya.
